A few ways I can help you with your dog...
Option 1: PRE-PUPPY 101
Who's it for?
If you are waiting to bring your new puppy home, book an in-home consultation before they arrive so you can be fully prepared for puppy parenthood
Getting a new puppy is a momentous event for anyone - they are delightful bundles of fluff and cute and joy, what's not to love? The reality is that they are also hard work!
Many people have told me it feels like having a new baby in the house; the comparison isn't too far off when it comes to commitment and learning curves (both human and canine)! This change in pace that is about to land in your life does not need to be traumatic though. With preparation and some good resources under your belt, you can get on with welcoming and enjoying your new addition.

The Pre-Puppy 101 Consultation is designed to clue you in with what to expect and how to take those pending changes in your stride. From managing puppy in the home and building a routine that works for you, to early training and socialisation goals, I will talk you through all you need to know to be prepared and address any specific concerns you may have.

With so much conflicting advice out there and "must have" lists flying about, it can be difficult to work out what's best for your puppy. This 5-week hands-on course is designed to be your complete guide to support you through everything the early days throw at you.

Option 3: MORE THAN SIT'S
TEEN-PUPPY CLASS
Who's it for?
If you have an older puppy, this group adolescent dog training course will help you get to grips with those tricky months between puppy- and adulthood.
After all the hard graft of the early weeks, it can be quite a shock when your once-sweet, compliant pup turns in to a wayward, unresponsive adolescent. From between 6 to 24 months (though it can depend on the individual), dogs enter a developmental phase similar to our human teenagers, bringing all those corresponding complications and frustrations with them.

Comprising of a 1-to-1 assessment and five weekly group classes, this course focuses on:
- how adolescence is affecting your dog and you;
- understanding the neurological and physiological changes adolescent pups are going through;
- identifying what this means in practical terms;
- practising strategies we can use to keep our teen-pups focused, responsive and thriving.

Note: this class is run on-demand. Numbers are capped at 4-6 pups per class (dependent on personality type) to ensure all participants are supported appropriately.

Option 4: PRIVATE 1-TO-1 DOG TRAINING
Who's it for?
If you're struggling with specific issues with your dog, 1-to-1 training sessions will help you resolve these with targeted support.
Whether you need an obedience refresher or help addressing a specific issue, I can help you achieve your goals. From common dog training stresses like pulling on lead, jumping up and poor recall to more tricky dog behaviour problems like leash reactivity, resource guarding, scavenging and aggression: I have the expertise to help.

Training can be conducted in the comfort of your own home and/or local area or remotely online - whatever suits you best. I will work with you to identify precisely why your dog is behaving this way and together we will create a feasible, positive training plan for long-term results.

To offer a service tailored to your needs, training is available to book in 3-, 5- and 8-session blocks.

Option 5: MENTORING
Who's it for?
If you have a good handle on dog training but could benefit from professional guidance and accountability to reach your training goals, mentoring is a great option.
As an experienced dog owner, you may feel that you have a good understanding of what makes your dog tick. Even so, it may be that you feel that your training has plateaued or your beloved pooch may be behaving in ways you're not 100% confident in tackling alone. In which case, mentoring might be the right option for you.

I offer supportive, actionable guidance to help keep your training on track. With the benefit of experienced problem-solving and accountability, your training goals are well within your reach.
